It's always good to get to the point where you can be friends. Sometimes forgiveness takes longer.

The love was a lie.

19:51 Feb 15 2011
Times Read: 593

It can really be painful to find out the love you gave some one for a year and half was a lie. That she still love the one before me. The one that treated her like shit. I gave her my heart and soul and yes at times I could have been a better b/f but the love was still there. I know her Mom would probably want her to be with this former b/f since she didnt a chance to know me. But I wonder if her Dad would approve since I did get the chance to know him and he liked me as her b/f.Ill just say this I hope she gets what she deserves.

History of Veils.

22:24 Feb 12 2011
Times Read: 621

In my profile I tell what kind of Vampire Veils are. The males are born Veils and females are turned by transfer of body fluids.(blood and semen) this changes the DNA. We go back history wise about 12th century Europe. The male Veils were mostly born to Royality. They didnt like the way the Royals treated the peasent females and turned them to give them power over the Royals. Its in our folktales that Joan of Arc was a Veil. Which of course then she wasnt a virgin. She got her orders from A VeilofDeath and not God. I believe she was a Veil the other part I dont know. Little note: There are no paintings of Joan of Arc done during her lifetime. Today we are kinda the same way. I find females that will be a good fit for the family that life or people have made it rough on them. They get a fresh start with us. We are passionate Vampires but dont not test us for that would be foolish on your part.

Egyptian Magik.

19:55 Feb 07 2011
Times Read: 632

Egyptian magic dates from the time when the predynastic and prehistoric dwellers in Egypt believed that the earth, and the underworld, and the air, and the sky were peopled with countless beings, visible and invisible, which were held to be friendly or unfriendly to man according as the operations of nature, which they were supposed to direct, were favourable or unfavourable to him. In -nature and attributes these beings were thought by primitive man to closely resemble himself and to possess all human passions, and emotions, and weaknesses, and defects; and the chief object of magic was to give man the pre-eminence over such beings. The favour of the beings who were placable and friendly to man might be obtained by means of gifts and offerings, but the cessation of hostilities on the part of those that were implacable and unfriendly could only be obtained by wheedling, and cajolery, and flattery, or by making use of an amulet, or secret name, or magical formula, or figure, or picture which had the effect of bringing to the aid of the mortal who possessed it the power of a being that was mightier than the foe who threatened to do evil to him.

The magic of most early nations aimed at causing the transference of power from a supernatural being to man, whereby he was to be enabled to obtain superhuman results and to become for a time as mighty as the original possessor of the power; but the object of Egyptian Magic was to endow man with the means of compelling both friendly and hostile powers, nay, at a later time, even God Himself, to do what he wished, whether the were willing or not. The belief in magic, the word being used in its best sense, is older in Egypt than the belief in God, and it is certain that a very large number of the Egyptian religious ceremonies, which were performed in later times as an integral part of a highly spiritual worship, had their origin in superstitious customs which date from a period when God, under any name or in any form, was unconceived in the minds of the Egyptians. Indeed it is probable that even the use of the sign which represents an axe, and which stands the hieroglyphic character both for God and "god," indicates that this weapon and. tool was employed in the performance of some ceremony connected with religious magic in prehistoric, or at any rate in predynastic times, when it in some mysterious way symbolized the presence of a supreme Power. But be this as it may, it is quite certain that magic and religion developed and flourished side by side in Egypt throughout all periods of her history, and that any investigation which we may make of the one necessarily includes an examination of the other.

From the religious books of ancient Egypt we learn that the power possessed by a priest or man who was skilled in the knowledge and working of magic was believed to be almost boundless. By pronouncing certain words or names of power in the proper manner and in the proper tone of voice he could heal the sick, and cast out the evil spirits which caused pain and suffering in those who were diseased, and restore the dead to life, and bestow upon the dead man the power to transform the corruptible into an incorruptible body, wherein the soul might live to all eternity. His words enabled human beings to assume divers forms at will, and to project their souls into animals and other creatures; and in obedience to his commands, inanimate figures and pictures became living beings and things which hastened to perform his behests. The powers of nature acknowledged his might, and wind and rain, storm and tempest, river and sea, and disease and death worked evil and ruin upon his foes, and upon the enemies of those who were provided with the knowledge of the words which he had wrested from the gods of heaven, and earth, and the underworld.

Inanimate nature likewise obeyed such words of power, and even the world itself came into existence through the utterance of a word by Thoth; by their means the earth could be rent asunder, and the waters forsaking their nature could be piled up in a heap, and even the sun's course in the heavens could be stayed by a word. No god, or spirit, or devil, or fiend, could resist words of power, and the Egyptians invoked their aid in the smallest as well as in the greatest events of their lives. To him that was versed in the lore contained in the books of the "double house of life" the future was as well known as the past, and neither time nor distance could limit the operations of his power; the mysteries of life and death were laid bare before him, and he could draw aside the veil which hid the secrets of fate and destiny from the knowledge of ordinary mortals.

Witchcraft Initiation Ritual

00:03 Feb 01 2011
Times Read: 559

There are three grades or degrees in contemporary witchcraft. They are, in ascending order of importance:

1. Priest and Witch of the Great Goddess;

2. Witch Queen or, in the case of a male, Magus; and

3. High Priestess or High Priest.

The first degree:

In the first degree the candidate is led naked, blindfolded and with his hands tied behind his back, into the "Circle of Power". After various occult mutterings from the leader of the coven, the postulant receives the five-fold kiss (on feet, knees, genitals, breast and lips) and forty strokes of the scourge, and takes an oath of secrecy:

"I, X. . .., in the presence of the Mighty Ones do of my own free will and accord most solemnly swear that I will ever keep secret and never reveal the secrets of the Art except it be to a proper person, properly prepared, with a Circle such as this. And that I will never deny the secrets of the Art to such a person if he or she be vouched for by a Brother or Sister of the Art. All this I swear by my hopes of a future life mindful that my measure has been taken and may my magical weapons turn against me if I break this my solemn oath."

It can safely be said that no oath has so often been broken as this one; for the "secrets of the Art" have been recorded in books, shown on television and described in the popular Press. Following the administration of the oath, the candidate is handed various implements, known as the "working tools of the Art", and has their use explained to him.

For example, he is given the athame, a black-hilted knife, the design of which Crowley and Gardner took from the old textbook of magic known as the Key of Solomon, and told that with it he can "form all Magic Circles, dominate, enslave and punish all rebellious spirits and demons and persuade angels and good spirits".

Finally, the candidate is informed that he is now "Priest and Witch of the Great Goddess".

The second degree:

The second degree again incorporates scourging; the aspirant is asked whether he is willing to "suffer and be purified in order to learn", and after he has answered in the affirmative duly receives forty strokes of the scourge. The leader of the coven then states that "in Witchcraft thou must ever give as thou receive, but triple", and the candidate is instructed to administer 120 strokes of the scourge to the initiator.

These proceedings being concluded, the "legend of the Goddess" is then either read out aloud or, in some covens, acted as a mystery play. This "legend" is a variant on the classical myth of Persephone and concludes with the words:

"There are three great events in the life of Man; Love, Death and Resurrection in a new body. Magic rules them all. For to make Love perfect you must return at the same time and place as the loved one, remember the past and love again."

At the end of the reading or play the aspirant is led around the Circle and it is proclaimed to the "Mighty Ones of the Elements" that a new Magus or Witch Queen has been consecrated.

The third degree:

The third degree is centred around ritual sexual intercourse in the Circle between the candidate and the initiator. The rite is of little interest except to voyeurs and in many covens it takes place in symbolic form only. When this latter course is followed, the magic knife (athame) is solemnly dipped into a chalice of wine and the onlookers are informed that "as is the Woman to Man so is the Cup to the Athame".
